We migrated successfully from WebCT Vista 3 to WebCT Vista 4. This is an entirely new version of the product and contains many new features and enhancements. MCNC staff installed Solaris operating system 10. MCNC staff implemented switch and other networking hardware changes. MCNC staff along with WebCT Premium Support worked with us on resolving networking and software configuration issues. |

6am-3pm: We installed Vista 3 Service Pack 5. This service pack includes BEA Weblogic updates, Vista application updates, Java updates, and changes to some database tuning parameters. We also installed hotfixes 52080 and 52090. MCNC staff installed Solaris operating system patches, updated firmware on the database and application nodes, audited Solaris security settings, and rearranged/installed hardware within our racks. |
